Dubrovnik is a Croatian town on the Adriatic, in the south of Dalmatia. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea, the port and the center of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. In 1979, Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO World Heritage List. The last few years, the streets of Dubrovnik have become the setting for big Hollywood films such as Star Wars, Robin Hood, and the TV show Game of the Thrones.
